Horsham Piazza Italia Rally, 2nd April 2010

Postby desmo on Wed Mar 17, 2010 11:07 am

Update - as there has been zero interest in the alternative start at Dorking, there will now be ONE start - Motori Di Marino, West Chiltington.
Any questions / queries, please email editor@docgb.net
Thanks :)

Last few days to register for this event - the latest news is that if bikes turn up on the day without pre-registering (and obtaining the required sticker), they will be directed to another carpark in the town away from the main display. (This particularly applies to bikes and Ferraris that turn up in Horsham without joining the parade as the roads to the Carfax will be closed early Friday morning to all non-participating vehicles.)
Email me at editor@docgb.net to register or if you have any questions about the event.

My thanks to all those who braved the elements to take part in the Horsham Piazza Italia rally today, a great range of bikes from Lambrettas to a Desmosedici. A big 'thank you' to Pietro for hosting the start (and supplying refreshments) and to David Warner for leading the ride-out.
I'm not sure yet how much money we raised for the Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice, but everyone who took part enjoyed themselves - despite the one (heavy) downpour, just on the last part of the parade. Hope that everyone had a safe journey home.
