MAG in Wales have just achieved designated motorcycle parking on Aberystwyth Promenade. Approximately 100 spaces will be available from August 2010 after negotiations between MAG and Ceredigion County Council were successfully concluded.

The provision is to be free for the foreseeable future.

MAG’s prime activist in the area, Rory Wilson said: “This has been a popular gathering point for riders for some years, but the random nature of the parking provision to date has led to calls for a total ban on bikes so we have really got a pretty good result here.”
